Mindworx to offer digital solutions in collaboration with Rainmaker
Gauteng-based business consultancy Mindworx has entered a strategic partnership with UK-based technology and software solutions firm Rainmaker. The duo hopes to offer comprehensive digital solutions for clients across South Africa and across the rest of the continent as well.
Founded in 2002, Mindworx is a consulting firm that operates on the principle that people lie at the heart of any organisation’s operations. To this end, the firm’s service offerings centre on people-management support such as recruitment, talent management and contracting.
The firm also offers solutions in business analysis, process engineering, management accounting and Big Data. Given its position in the South African market, the firm also supports clients with the development of strategies for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) compliance.
As South Africa continues to struggle with unemployment issues, the call across the business world is for skill and talent development to work in collaboration with the latest industry 4.0 technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. Mindworx is now looking to capitalise on this demand.
To this end, the firm has now announced a partnership with UK-based technology firm Rainmaker Solutions. Based in London, Rainmaker is a consulting firm that specialises in the digital transformation of clients, operating on the principle that a lack of innovation can make a firm’s IT infrastructure a hindrance rather than a benefit.
Based on this premise, the firm offers clients a way out of these restrictive IT systems through services in business transformation, service design, commercial innovation, project & programme delivery, in addition to strategic alignment of software systems with user needs.
The partnership creates a suitable arrangement for capitalising on the South African market, given the substantial base of clients in and around the country. Rainmaker will provide the innovative solutions that match international standards – something that most experts have found lacking in the current South African business environment.
According to the CEO of Midworx Jonah Naidoo, the new international expertise offered by Rainmaker will allow Midworx to support “even the most tech-savvy clients, putting them on a global footing.” CEO at Rainmaker Jan Joubert added that the duo intended to bring about a significant change in the status quo across South Africa.
