PwC promotes Grant Kemp to CIO and Digital Officer for Africa

PwC has promoted Grant Kemp to the role of Chief Information Officer and Digital Officer for its Africa business.
Grant Kemp has been with PwC since 2012, when he joined the firm’s South Africa business as manager of network and unified communications. He has since then held several leadership roles of growing seniority, appointed Chief Information Officer for Africa in 2022. He now sees the Digital Officer title added to his remit.
In his expanded role, will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital and technology strategy aligned with PwC Africa’s business objectives and global goals. In doing so, he will place a strong emphasis on ensuring PwC’s digital transformation services are ethically grounded, secure, and people-centric.
Kemp is also focused on driving digital upskilling initiatives, enabling PwC’s teams to thrive in a rapidly evolving technological environment.
Kemp has more than 20 years of experience in IT landscape. Prior to joining PwC, he worked at Panasonic as an IT technician and at MCT Telecommunications.
