Openfield Marketing appoints Bongani Chinkanda as new Managing Director

Openfield Marketing, a marketing consultancy and agency, has appointed Bongani Chinkanda as its new Managing Director.

In his new role, Bongani Chinkanda will oversee all aspects of Openfield Marketing’s operations and will be responsible for strategic planning, client relations, and staff development. He will lead a team of around 30 staff, working out of offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with satellite representation agreements in every major city allowing national coverage.

Openfield Marketing specialises in areas such as sponsorship marketing and brand experience. The firm’s offerings include planning, digital marketing, brand development, and client engagement.

Bongani has a proven track record in the marketing world, having held senior positions in several well-known marketing firms in South Africa.
