Microsoft partner NBConsult joins managed services provider Cyberlogic

NBConsult, a Cape Town-based Microsoft consulting firm, has been acquired by Cyberlogic, a major managed services provider headquartered in Stellenbosch.

Founded in 2007, NBConsult has been providing Microsoft consulting and implementation services for over 15 years, specializing in hybrid identities, cloud migration, compliance, and zero-trust security. The company employs a team of senior consultants, many of whom hold Microsoft MVP status.

As part of the deal, the NBConsult team will join Cyberlogic’s Professional Services & Projects business unit. NBConsult’s founder, Nicolas Blank, will become part of the Cyberlogic Office of the CTO.

Commenting on the partnership, Blank said: “We weren’t interested in being acquired for the sake of scale. We were looking for the right partner, one that understands what it means to be trusted with key operational outcomes. With Cyberlogic, we’ve found that. We’re still the NBConsult clients know us to be, but now with greater muscle, a broader footprint, and an even stronger foundation.”

With the addition of NBConsult, Cyberlogic expands its traditional managed services business – focused on cyber, data, cloud, and other IT services – into the consulting realm.

“NBConsult will expand our ability to deliver secure, scalable, and intelligent solutions that empower clients to modernize operations and realize the full potential of digital transformation,” said Mark Tew, CEO of Cyberlogic.

“NBConsult has built something remarkable, a consulting business known for deep technical credibility and client trust. We saw immediate alignment in culture, capability, and vision. This is not a typical acquisition – it’s a strategic partnership to build something stronger, together.”

Terms and conditions of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Cyberlogic has domestic offices in Stellenbosch and Johannesburg, and two international offices in Mauritius and the United Kingdom.
