Aurecon South Africa signs distribution and implementation partnership with Digpro
Infrastructure advisory and project management firm Auercon South Africa has entered into a strategic agreement with Swedish network life cycle management firm Digpro to aid with the latter’s distribution and implementation efforts in Africa. The partnership will focus on the electricity, water and communication sectors.
Established in 2009, Aurecon is a consulting firm offering support to clients in the domains of engineering and infrastructure. The firm’s services can be divided into six broad categories, namely environment & planning, infrastructure advisory, communication & stakeholder engagement, programme & project management, asset management, and digital engineering & advisory services.
Aurecon South Africa’s latest challenge involves the implementation and distribution of Digpro’s services not only in the South African market, but across the continent as well. The duo is looking to construct a long-term systematic relationship with the primary objective of providing value-addition services.
Digpro is a Swedish software development firm that offers solutions primarily related to geographic information systems, with other solutions in the network planning, outage management, and asset maintenance domains. The firm also offers support at every stage of network lifecycle management.
When integrating a new software system, Digpro offers a gradual, step-by-step support system that facilitates the maintenance of operational control. To this end, the firm is staffed with talent from a variety of fields, including project managers, technical engineers, consultants and geospatial data experts.The partnership will offer services to clients in the electricity, water and increasingly lucrative telecommunications domain.
