ASCELA expands into Africa with new office in Johannesburg
International consulting firm ASCELA has launched a new office in Johannesburg, its first in Africa and fourth internationally – strengthening its presence across high-growth regions worldwide.
Founded in 2018 in India, ASCELA has steadily grown into a cross-border consulting firm with operations spanning India, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Singapore, and now South Africa.
The Johannesburg office marks a strategic step in the firm’s ambition to support clients in the country and the wider region. “Africa represents one of the most dynamic growth frontiers globally. With Johannesburg as our base, we are well-positioned to support clients in unlocking opportunities, building resilient operations, and driving sustainable growth across the region,” said Nivesh Chaudhary, co-founder of ASCELA.
ASCELA advises governments, investors, and private companies on complex projects in logistics, transport, and infrastructure.
Chaudhary notes that Africa’s logistics and infrastructure landscape faces both significant challenges and promising opportunities where ASCELA’s expertise could play a vital role.
“The region is experiencing rapid growth, underpinned by rising urbanisation, increased trade activity, and a surge in infrastructure development projects. From transport corridors and logistics hubs to energy and digital infrastructure, the demand for strategic, financial, and operational advisory services is expanding significantly. Johannesburg is Africa’s largest commercial and financial hub and provides ASCELA with an ideal base to serve clients across Sub-Saharan Africa.”
The new office will deliver end-to-end consulting services – from strategic and market assessment, and financial structuring to operational transformation, mirroring its service portfolio in other markets.
