Top Consulting Firms in South Africa 2025 launches

Global consulting platform Consultancy.org has launched the inaugural edition of its ‘Top Consulting Firms in South Africa’, presenting the most trusted, expert, and influential consultancy firms in the country.

With hundreds of consulting firms operating in South Africa’s diverse market, it can be challenging for organizations seeking external expertise – and for professionals looking for their next career move – to identify which firm is the best fit.

The ‘Top Consulting Firms in South Africa 2025’ ranking showcases the industry’s leading players, from the world’s best-known brands to boutiques and small niche players. More than 500 consulting firms were assessed, out of which around 60 firms made the final ranking. Top listed firms are active in a wide range of areas of expertise and industry verticals, and are sorted across five levels: Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

To distinguish the leaders from the rest, Consultancy.org conducted an industry-wide and holistic assessment of capabilities and track record. The 2025 edition was based on a survey of clients and consultants, and a capabilities assessment that included factors such as firm reputation, projects, analyst benchmarks, industry recognitions, and thought leadership.

The South Africa assessment was enriched and complemented by Consultancy.org’s extensive global database of industry insights, which currently spans over 4,000 reviews from clients, over 15,000 peer reviews from consultants, and the world’s largest database of consulting firm capabilities and track record.
