TELUS Digital launches second Cape Town office in Maitland district
TELUS Digital, a global technology company specializing in digital customer experiences, has opened its newest site in Maitland, Cape Town.
Since launching in South Africa in mid-2023 with an office in Woodstock, a suburb of Cape Town, TELUS Digital has grown rapidly to a team of around 1,200 people. To support this growth and create space for further expansion, the Canada-headquartered company has now opened a second Cape Town office in Maitland.
“This new office is a milestone in our mission to redefine customer experience by combining global strategy with local excellence,” said Jason Macdonnell, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of TELUS Digital.
“South Africa is a critical part of that mission. With over 1,200 jobs created in just two years, tapping into an incredibly skilled and diverse talent pool, combined with world-class infrastructure, this is a country poised for a bright economic future, and we’re proud to grow with it. Our teams here show the world what’s possible when technology meets humanity.”
Headquartered in Vancouver, TELUS Digital has more than 75,000 people worldwide working from offices in close to 35 countries. The company designs, builds and delivers solutions in the customer experience landscape, serving some of the biggest brands in the world.
“We offer a unique approach to customer experience, one that blends technology, people and purpose, and to meet the evolving needs of clients around the globe,” said Macdonnell.

The new Maitland site features advanced workspaces equipped for high-performance customer experience delivery, team engagement, and wellness. Like Woodstock, it includes training centers, healthcare access, and digitally enabled environments that reflect TELUS Digital’s global design standards with a local feel.
“Our people are the cornerstone of our business. That’s why every inch of our Woodstock and Maitland sites were built with a people-first mindset. The facilities include spaces such as quiet rooms, gym facilities and collaborative lounges, all featuring design elements that pay tribute to the unique and vibrant cultures of Cape Town,” said George Todd, Vice President for South Africa at TELUS Digital.
“We’re not just opening buildings, we’re building a world-class culture, rooted in purpose, pride, and community. The 1,200+ jobs we’ve created are just the beginning. To our teams: we’re so thankful you’ve made this possible and built something meaningful that will last.”
