Agiloft adds Timmut Connect as new partner & reseller in South Africa
California-based Agile software solutions developer Agiloft has a new partner and reseller in South Africa in the form of business and technology consultancy Timmu Connect. The partnership will help tailor Agiloft’s solutions for the South African market, and takes its global presence to six continents.
Founded in 1991, Agiloft was conceptualised as a regular software solutions firm, but soon became a leader in innovation and filling market gaps in the tech domain. The firm leveraged the experience gained from working with leaders in the tech industry such as Cisco and Compaq to develop its flagship customer support and helpdesk application by the name of SupportWizard, and subsequently identified key opportunities that it could exploit.
Since then, the Sillicon Valley firm has grown to serve over 3 million users, including government departments in the US and Fortune 100 companies, extending all the way to the small and medium enterprises sector. Services offered by the firm lean towards the front end, spanning the contract management, customer relationship management and customer support domains.
The firm has also grown to take on an international character, with operations now stretching across all six inhabitable continents, with a particularly strong presence across North America and Europe. The firm’s first presence in Africa has just been established, through the partnership with Timmut Connect in South Africa.
Agiloft works through partnerships, wherein firms across the globe act as resellers of Agiloft solutions, tweaking and tailoring them to suit the local market. Timut Connect is well suited to distribute for Agiloft, being a firm with over two decades of consulting experience in some of the country’s most crucial sectors such as mining, finance, manufacturing and government.
Services offered by Timmut Connect include ERP implementation and support, project management, contract management solutions, business consulting and – most pertinently – software programming and IT governance. The firm will find an increasingly responsive market to work with in South Africa, given a growing propensity for the latest technology across all sectors.
Commenting on the partnership, Director of Partner Relations at Agiloft Brandon Wright said, “Timmut Connect impressed us with its dedication to service and proven experience implementing technology solutions in both the public and private sectors. This relationship will help us broaden Agiloft's highly cost-effective no-code application platform to the South African marketplace.”
Partnership Manager at Timmut Connect Phillip Kweza added, “We are thrilled to become an Agiloft Certified Reseller and gain access to a set of deeply configurable business applications," said Philip Kweza, Partnership Manager at Timmut Connect. "Our customers will be delighted to see their solutions go live on time and on budget, at a fraction of the cost of similar systems.”
