Hoorah Digital continues its rapid business development in South Africa, adding Sanofi’s Antistax and Viral Choice to its portfolio of digital clients. The digital marketing consultancy already works with Sanofi as a digital partner for its Essentiale brand, and has now expanded this relationship.

Hoorah first signed with Sanofi in 2018 to manage Essentiale, and the professional relationship has since gone from strength to strength. In July this year, the global pharmaceutical firm declared its trust in the digital agency, upping its portfolio to include Sanofi’s overall branding and strategy development.

The new upgrade makes Hoorah a digital partner for the Antistax and Viral Choice brands. Antistax is a leg and vein massage gel, while Viral Choice is a vitamin supplement that enhances the immune system. Hoorah will manage a whole host of functions for both brands under the new agreement.

Hoorah Digital takes on a bigger role in managing Sanofi's marketing in SA

These include brand strategy development, creative design, website management, social media management and ecommerce. Hoorah’s successful growth trajectory since its establishment two years ago is demonstrative of its capabilities in all the above areas, given the variety of contracts that it has won.

The firm bolstered its ecommerce capabilities through an acquisition shortly after it was founded, and has since been the digital partner for a number of firms across South Africa and neighbouring regions, including the likes of Hi-Tec and Pizza Hut Tanzania. The firm was recently recognised for its efforts with the World Wide Fund for Nature.

Commenting on the new portfolio, Michael Hutcheon, General Manager for Consumer Healthcare in South Africa for CHC Africa said, “Over the past year we have seen that the team at Hoorah understands the local market. They present us with creative work that is fresh, consumer-focused and different. Because the agency is good at executing future-focused digital campaigns, we look forward to working with them on three of our brands.”

Shaune Jordaan, CEO at Hoorah added, “At Hoorah Digital we believe in pushing the boundaries. We are looking forward to helping Sanofi SA get to know their customers, become more relevant locally,  and becoming a leader in their space.”
